Free VCF Viewer (Open vCard Contacts Files)

Open a .vcf contacts file and read every contact: names, phones, e-mails, addresses and photos. Search, spot duplicates, export to CSV for Excel or Google Contacts, split into one file per contact, or save as clean vCard 3.0.

Open a contacts file your phone or computer will not show you: a phone backup, an Outlook or iCloud export, or a card someone sent you. Every contact is read in this page.

How It Works

The page reads the file in your browser: it detects the text encoding (UTF-8, UTF-16 or an older code page), joins folded lines, decodes quoted-printable values from vCard 2.1, and reads every card's properties. Photos are shown only when their bytes are a real image, and links to remote photos are never loaded.

  1. 1
    Open the file
Drop one or more .vcf files, or press "Browse files". "Try a sample" opens a made-up contacts file.
  2. 2
    Browse the contacts
Search by name, number or e-mail. Tap a contact to see every phone, e-mail, address, birthday and note. Possible duplicates are marked.
  3. 3
    Pick what you need
Tick contacts to export only those, and choose whether .vcf downloads stay as in the file or become clean vCard 3.0.
  4. 4
    Export
Download a CSV for Excel or Google Contacts, a ZIP with one .vcf per contact, or one .vcf with your selection.

Your contacts are read in this browser. The file is never uploaded.
