How It Works

Text Repeater runs entirely in the browser with zero external dependencies — the output is built using JavaScript's native Array.fill and Array.join methods, with an optional {n} numbering mode handled by a hand-written loop and String.replaceAll. Nothing is sent to a server.

  1. 1
    Input and options
You type (or paste) any text into the textarea and set a repeat count between 1 and 10,000. A row of preset separator buttons lets you join repetitions with nothing, a space, a newline, a comma, a pipe, an em-dash, or any custom string you type in.
  2. 2
    Array.fill / replaceAll repetition
On every keystroke or option change, a useMemo computes the output: for plain text it calls Array(count).fill(text).join(separator); if your text contains the {n} token, it switches to a for-loop that calls text.replaceAll('{n}', i+1) for each repetition, turning the tool into a numbered-list generator.
  3. 3
    Preview capping and stats
A second useMemo counts words (split on whitespace) and lines (split on newline). The DOM preview is capped at 100,000 characters to keep rendering fast — an amber banner appears when the full output exceeds that limit, but the complete text is always available via Copy or Download.
  4. 4
    Copy or download
Copy uses navigator.clipboard.writeText with the full unsplit output string. Download wraps the same string in a Blob typed as text/plain and triggers a file save as repeated-text.txt — both operations happen locally with no network request.
