How It Works

An OFD file is a ZIP package of XML files. The page unpacks it in your browser, follows OFD.xml to the document and its pages, and redraws each page's text, lines and images as an SVG picture. For e-invoices it reads the custom tags, which point at the page text that holds the invoice number, date, buyer, seller and amounts.

    Open the file
    Drop the .ofd file or press "Browse files". "Try a sample invoice" opens a made-up e-invoice.

    Read the pages
    Page through the document, switch between fit-to-width and actual size, and copy the text of a page.
  3. 3
    Check the invoice fields
    For an e-invoice, see the invoice number, date, buyer, seller and totals, and copy any of them.
  4. 4
    Save it
    Press "Print / save as PDF", or download the page as PNG or SVG, the fields as CSV, or the files attached to the invoice.
