How It Works

The page builds each piano note in your browser with WebAudio oscillators and filters, so no sound files are downloaded, and renders recordings on your device.

  1. 1
    Play the keys
Click or touch the keys, or press the letters shown on them. The "+" and "−" buttons beside "Octave range" move the keyboard up or down.
  2. 2
    Shape the sound
Set "Volume" and "Reverb", hold Space or press "Sustain" for the pedal, and pick "C D E" or "Do Re Mi" note names.
  3. 3
    Record a take
Press "Record", play, then "Stop recording". The notes are rendered into audio on your device, and "Play recording" plays it back.
  4. 4
    Save the file
Choose WAV or MP3 and press the download button to save the recording.

Sound and recordings are made in your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded.
