How do I add and move cards on the kanban board?

Type a title in the box under a column and press "Add card" (or Enter). Drag a card by its grip handle (or by its title with a mouse) to another column or to a new place in the same column. Without a mouse, use the arrow buttons on the card, or focus the grip handle and press the arrow keys. Press a card's title to open it and set notes, a label colour, a due date and its column.

Can I rename, add, delete and reorder columns?

Yes. The default columns are "To do", "Doing" and "Done". Press "Add column" to add one (up to 12 per board). The ⋯ button on a column opens "Column settings", where you can rename it, press "Move column left" or "Move column right", or delete it. Deleting a column with cards asks you to confirm and deletes its cards too. A board always keeps at least one column.

Where are my boards saved, and can I back them up?

Boards are saved automatically in this browser's local storage, so they are still there when you come back on the same device and browser. They are not uploaded and not shared between devices. Clearing site data, another browser or a private window means they are gone, so use "Download JSON (all boards)" for a backup and "Import JSON" to add the boards from a backup file.

How do I use several boards, search and filters?

Press "New board" to make another board (up to 20) and switch between them with the Board menu; "Board settings" renames or deletes the open one. "Search cards" matches titles and notes. You can also filter by label colour and by due date: overdue, due in the next 7 days, or no due date. Dragging and the move buttons are switched off while a filter is on; press "Clear filters" to move cards again.

"Download JSON (all boards)" saves every board so you can import it again. "Download Markdown (this board)" saves a readable list with one heading per column, and "Download CSV (this board)" saves one row per card with the columns Column, Title, Notes, Label and Due, ready for a spreadsheet. A board holds up to 500 cards, and the files are made on your device.
