Are the dice rolls really random?

Yes. Each die is drawn with crypto.getRandomValues, your browser's secure random number generator, using a method that avoids bias, so every face has the same chance. The result is chosen first and the shuffle animation only settles on it, so the animation does not change the odds.

Which dice can I roll?

Choose d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100, and 1 to 10 dice of that type at once. The page shows each die and the total. To roll different types together, such as a d20 and a d6, roll one type and then the other and add the totals yourself.

How do I roll with the keyboard?

Press Space to roll. It works when focus is not on a button or a field. If a button has focus, Space presses that button instead, so the "Roll" button itself also rolls when you press Space on it.

Is my roll history saved?

The last 10 rolls are listed under "Recent rolls" with the dice, each value and the total. They stay only while the page is open: "Clear" empties the list and closing or reloading the page removes it. Nothing is saved or uploaded.

Does it work offline and on a phone?

Yes on a phone, with big buttons for the dice type and count. The rolls are made in your browser with no server request, so once the page has loaded you can keep rolling without a connection. If your device is set to reduce motion, the shuffle animation is skipped and the result appears at once.
