How do I pop the bubbles?

Click or tap a bubble, or press and drag across the sheet to pop many at once. With a keyboard, Tab to the sheet, move with the arrow keys and press Space or Enter to pop the bubble you are on. A popped bubble stays flat until you press "New sheet".

Why does each pop sound different?

The pop is made in your browser with WebAudio: a short burst of filtered noise plus a low thump. The pitch and length are picked at random for every pop, so no two sound exactly alike. Nothing is downloaded. Untick "Sound" to pop silently. On some phones a hardware silent switch also mutes it.

Does the vibration work on my phone?

"Vibration" gives a very short buzz for each pop using the browser vibration feature. Most Android browsers support it. iPhone Safari does not, and desktop computers have no motor, so there it does nothing. You can untick it at any time.

How many bubbles are there, and can I change the size?

The sheet fills the width of the page and about the height of your screen. "Size" can be Small, Medium or Large, and there are never more than 400 bubbles. Changing the size or turning your phone sideways starts a fresh sheet.

Is my pop count saved anywhere?

The "popped in total" number and your Size, Sound and Vibration choices are saved in this browser's local storage so they are there next time. The current sheet is not saved, and nothing is uploaded or put in the page address.
