The WebAssembly build of FFmpeg (~30 MB) downloads on first use and is cached by your browser afterwards.

FFmpeg cuts the clip
Fast mode uses stream copy (-c copy) — no re-encoding, so it finishes almost instantly with zero quality loss but snaps to a keyframe. Precise mode re-encodes for a frame-exact cut.

The result is handed back as a downloadable blob and previewed in-page so you can confirm the cut.
