Quick presets
Based on WCAG 2.1 contrast guidelines. Large text = 18pt (24px) normal or 14pt (18.66px) bold. Hex codes update in both directions: type a hex or pick a color, both inputs stay in sync.
Print Design tips
For posters viewed from distance or by older audiences, prefer 7:1+ contrast (AAA). Younger eyes can read lower contrast; older eyes struggle.
For body text in printed brochures, AA (4.5:1) is the minimum. Lower contrast looks "modern" on screen but reads poorly on paper.
CMYK and RGB color spaces are different. Use this tool as a guideline, but proof prints to verify final appearance.
