RSS tips

๐Ÿ“ก

RSS 2.0 requires the
element to contain either plain text or HTML-entity-encoded markup. Unencoded HTML breaks feed parsers.

๐Ÿ’ก

Encode your article's full HTML content here, then wrap it in
...
to simplify entity requirements.

๐Ÿ”

Validate your RSS feed at validator.w3.org/feed/ after adding encoded content. Entity encoding errors are the most common cause of validation failure.

๐Ÿ“ฐ

Atom feeds (Atom 1.0) use
with entity-encoded HTML in the same way. The encoding rules are identical.
