💡 For HTML mockups: use the “Copy as data URL” option and paste into <img src="..."> for inline placeholders. For Figma / Sketch designs, download the PNG and drag in.
CMS tips
For client previews where you don't want to show real images yet, themed placeholders look intentional and on-brand.
Pick colors from your client's brand palette so even placeholders feel cohesive.
Custom text option is great for indicating roles: "Hero Image", "Product Photo", "Team Headshot" — clearer than dimensions.
