Compute SHA-256, SHA-1, SHA-384, and SHA-512 checksums of any file — and verify a download against its published hash. The file is read locally and never uploaded.

Paste the SHA-256 from the download page; a green ✓ confirms the file is intact and authentic.
A red ✗ means the file differs — it may be corrupted in transit or tampered with. Re-download from a trusted source.
Especially important for OS images, installers, and security tools.
