Calculate Sale Prices and Discounts

Use "X% of Y": enter the discount percentage and original price. Result = the discount amount. Subtract from original to get the sale price.

Example: 30% off $89.99 = $89.99 × 0.30 = $26.99 saved. Sale price = $89.99 − $26.99 = $63.00.

For stacked discounts (20% off, then extra 10%), calculate the first discount first, then apply the second to the result — they don't simply add up to 30%.

Use "percentage change" mode to see how much a price has changed in percentage terms — useful for comparing before-and-after sale prices.
