💡 In regex mode, use capture groups in Find like (\d{4})-(\d{2}) and reference them in Replace with $1, $2 — great for reformatting dates, names, or IDs in bulk.
Regex tips
Capture parts of a match with parentheses and reuse them in the replacement as $1, $2, …
Example: find (\d{4})-(\d{2})-(\d{2}) and replace with $3/$2/$1 to flip date formats.
Invalid patterns are caught instantly so you never run a broken expression.
