Sort a List of Names Alphabetically
Alphabetise attendee lists, team rosters, student names, and credit lists by first or last name.
Names tips
For "Last, First" format names (Smith, John), sort alphabetically to get last-name ordering. For "First Last", the sort will use first name.
To sort by last name when names are in "First Last" format: manually rearrange a few, or sort then review β alphabetical by first name is still useful.
Deduplicate a merged attendee list from multiple RSVPs. Enable "Remove duplicates" and "Ignore case" to catch both "John Smith" and "john smith".
After sorting, the output is ready to paste into event programs, meeting agendas, or any document that lists participants.
