Trimming length is the cleanest way to shrink a file — fast mode removes seconds without re-compressing what remains.
Because fast mode copies the streams, a 30-second cut of a 2-minute clip is roughly a quarter of the size, at full quality.
Still too big after trimming? Run the result through the video compressor to drop resolution or bitrate.
No upload means no size cap — trim multi-gigabyte files that conversion sites would refuse.
